The Pro. Fighter X Turbo, or Pro. Fighter X2 in Asian territories, is the direct evolution of the original Pro. Fighter X and was released in 1995 by China Coach Limited(CCL). It has a revamped bios that adds the ability to keep ROMs loaded when the console is off, and has a built-in Super Smart Card. The shell was simplified and no longer uses parts from the DB. Pro Fighter, it also adds a port on the side to insert Game Boy cartridges. The Turbo came in 24, 32, and 64MB sizes; it used the same accessories as the X except for the bottom cartridge connector as it uses its own. It supports the same SNES file formats as the regular X while displaying info about the file as its being loaded.

My Pro. Fighter X Turbo is the first model, it has the original label and the Smart Card only takes Game Boy games, where as the later models support the Game Gear; I got mine with 32MB of storage. This copier also has a reputation for being unreliable, but like the DB. Fighter these claims come from very few sources and most of these you can find today work just fine, especially since they don't use NiCad batteries unlike many other copiers. I really like my Turbo, the game remaining loaded even when the console is off is super useful and loading from floppy is very quick. However, the new bios has issues with file names that use anything other than A-Z and 0-9, not in all caps, and a filename over 8 characters long.
