The Double Pro. Fighter was released in 1993 by China Coach Limited(CCL). It had the ability to play both SNES and Sega Genesis games by attaching their respective adapter on the bottom of the copier. It came in 24/32Mb (64Mb in select models and only for the SNES side), and included DSP support. Later models included CD-Rom support and a redesigned shell which was used for the Pro. fighter X copiers.

Parallel transfer was supported as an optional cartridge adapter that plugged into the SNES slot, they also made adapters for the proprietary CD-Rom drive and later the Super Smart Card, which was a copier for the original Game Boy also made by CCL.

The bios' were modified from the later Super Pro. Fighter Q+ for the SNES side and the Super Magic Drive Plus for the Genesis side. As such the DB. Fighter supports the same rom file formats as these two.

My DB. Pro. Fighter is a later model, it has the original case style with 32Mb and CD-Rom support. It also had a standard floppy drive unlike the earliest models which used a laptop sized drive. My DB. Fighter is the most common varient as most I could find online has roughly the same features. There have also been reports of high failure rates but their original sources are based on one account and the ones that passed QA worked just fine. However, this copier in particular had a few design problems. Screw stalks breaking inside the case is common, and every unit came with a folded piece of magazine/newspaper being sandwiched between the top of the floppy drive and the motherboard to prevent them shorting each other out.
